MINGUS

Our Group

Mingus began its journey in the Prescott area in 2021.  We came together as a group of friends and neighbors with a love of classic Country/Western, Rock 'n' Roll and Blues music.  We started out with a few, simple blues progressions and have moved on to a repertoire of over 150 songs.  As a result of this love for a wide variety of music genre, each set of music that we perform spans a wide variety of popular songs.

As a group, we are not a "cover band".  We do not pretend to copy the musical stylings of the original performing artists but choose to acknowledge and celebrate their musical achievements by performing our best rendition of their popular hits.
